"Known as the William Armstrong House, this Gothic Revival style structure was built in the 1880s. The house passed through various owners, however, the most famous resident was artist William Armstrong who moved into the house in 1968 and live and painted there until his death in 2000. Mr. Armstrong painted landscapes and still life and his paintings are part of the National Gallery of Canada."
