Romanesque Revival
(1850-1910)

Romanesque Revival architecture is inspired by the medieval Norman style of Europe that proliferated in the 11th and 12th centuries.  Heavy stonework, stringcourses, and an emphasis on the rounded Roman arch form the basis of this style.
